K V Anand, who had previously directed ‘Kana Kandein’, will direct Surya again for a AVM banner movie. The story of the film is by Subha and music is by Harris Jayaraj. The search is still on for heroine. The rest of the crew also needs to be decided.

Suriya is currently shooting for the film Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gowtham Menon in US. Suriya has earlier worked with AVM for the film Perazhagan. The producers M.Saravanan, M.S.Guhan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan have announced an October 27th, 2008 Deepavali release.
