July 4, is traditionally known worldwide, as American Independence day. Fourth of July as it is known was the day when United States of America consisting of 13 colonies in 1776 declared their independence from Great Britain.

Well in Kerala, July 4 is the day when Malayalam star Dileep releases his film! It is his lucky date, as all his comedy films released on that day have been big hits like C.I.D Moosaand last year’s Chess etc. Dileep is not bothered whether that day is a Friday or a working day, he has released it even on a Monday!

Keeping that in mind Dileep and director Joshy has announced their new film’s title as July 4! And yes it will release on July 4, 2007. It is a typical Joshy-Dileep combo film like their earlier Lion, plenty of family sentiments and action.

Dileep has a new heroine in Notebook Roma and another new girl Mangala, along with the Joshy regulars like Siddique, Salim Kumar, Riaz Khan, Cochin Haneefa etc .The film has music by Ouseppachan. For Roma it is a big break to be the heroine of Dileep.
